Go for a walk.

gabydunn:

I left my apartment for no reason today.

I just went outside. I walked whichever way I wanted. I had no errands to run, no people to meet, no jobs to do.

This is the first time I’ve done this in New York City as far as I can remember. I hardly ever do anything that doesn’t have an immediate purpose. Sometimes I forget there’s a whole city outside.

Go for a walk.

Don’t have a destination.

Today, I have not left my apartment, or stopped work for any reason other than internet procrastination, food and phone calls. But I wholeheartedly endorse this message.

Get lost.
